Known for being one of the four original noble hops, Saaz (or Czech Saaz) originated in Bohemia and has been a staple to brewers for over 700 years. With its low alpha acid content, Saaz is undeniably an aroma hop and is the defining flavor in Czech-style pilsners. This hop has pleasantly mild notes of sweet bread, and both woody and floral aromatics.

SIMCOE® HOPS US
Known for being "Cascade on steroids," this high alpha dual-purpose variety makes for a nice foundational bittering hop, while still providing loads of value as an aroma hop on the cold side. It can be described as fruity and earthy, combining notes of berry, grapefruit, and apricot, with pronounced aromas of pine and resin. Simcoe can find a place in most hoppy-style beers, both as a bittering hop and as a late addition, and is a staple hop in some of the most revered West Coast IPAs.
